Just a few reminders -
üPlease be in the rooms no later than 15 minutes before services start (10:15).
(This allows those that need to get to choir or other commitments to do so on time.)
üPlease make sure each child has a nametag on them and their bags, bottles, cups, etc.
üAt the end of each service, each room should - Pick up and wipe off all the toys, wipe down the changing table, vacuum the floors, and TAKE OUT THE TRASH.
Whoa! October is here! Fall has arrived! Before long the leaves will be changing and the heavy coats will be coming out of the closets. October is bringing with it many opportunities for our church family to reach out to friends and family that don't know the Lord. Let's remember to keep all the people working in all the different programs this month uplifted in prayer.
Thank you to all of you willing to pick up extra shifts this month. As you will soon see, I took you all up on it! We are implementing some changes in the nursery this month. One such change is the sign-in book. All workers will now need to sign-in also. We are putting together a notebook of general information about the nursery, please take time to look at this during the month and make yourself familiar with everything. We are also making some changes in the toddler room. We have decided to make better use of the time with the toddlers and use it more for teaching and learning than just play. If you are scheduled in the toddler room this month, you will receive a packet, for your Sunday, prior to your day. If you have any questions, please see me and I will be happy to help you out.
Another change taking place this month is the sign-in table. We will now have a Nursery Ministry Action Team member at the table before the 10:30 service. They will assist parents in getting the children signed-in and directed into the correct rooms. This month will be Nancy Castelo. In order for this to work effectively, all workers will need to be in their rooms no later than 10:15! If this means you have to leave your Life Support class a few minutes early, please do so. No one is scheduled more than one Sunday morning a month, so please help us by being on time.
